The Tern UL 1 is an excellent choice for the minimalist backcountry traveler. Made with ultralight 20D RS sil/PU nylon, #3 YKK zippers, a fully seam-taped fly, and designed for use with a single trekking pole, this 3-season tent weighs in at just under a pound and a half. A small vestibule provides enough room for boots and a pack and a single small pole at the foot helps provide a sturdy footbox to keep condensation off your sleeping bag. Durable 3-sided stakes keep the tent taut and secure and a hood-vent provides ample ventilation.
